Hello ,
Are we required to pass our Nursing Board Exam in our own country before we could obtain a VisaScreen from CGFNS/ICHP ??
Or, even you are not a Board Passer in your own country ICHP will issue a VisaScreen Certificate ?
PLEASE ADVICE .:balloons:

You do not need a local license at the moment for VSC, this may change in the future but currently many nurses from your country have not taken local boards and have gone though the process and received VSC
Thank you .
For the sake of discussion ,
WHY the CGFNS required the June 2006 Board Passer to retake Test 3 and 5 of the tainted Nursing Licensure Examination of JUNE 2006 , if they can isue VSC to NONE BOARD PASSER ?
Just curious .
Regards

Because they took the exam and there was issues with the exam. You have to declare if you took local licensure to lie could result in fraud charges and vsc revoked. If you didn't take local exam then there is no issue, the issue is taking the exam and then either failed or some issue comes up like June 06. Think of it from an employer's prospective if someone took exam and failed would you want to employ them

wether your not a june 2006 candidate once you tried to challenge the local board and failed you still have to declared it or else you will be completely barred from the ICHP services once they found it

What about if the situation is that someone took the local boards, PASSED, but DID NOT register for licensure? (for example, if he/she left immediately after taking the boards) Would that be acceptable by VSC? I mean, can it be denied that the person has a license at all? Because, technically, even if he/she passed the boards but didn't register, he/she doesn't have a permanent RN license in the local country.
