Visa Screen

Hi everybody,

I'm a french nurse, and i applied to the CVS for NY state but CGFNS was not able to verify my credentials (because they didn't follow the addresses i provided) and send a bad report to the NY state board. So the NY state send me a message and told me that my school could provide the credentials directly to them. my credentials were accepted by the state of NY so the board allowed me to take the NCLEX-RN. Is there a way to make the visa screen step more easy especially concerning the credentials and the diploma transcripts part like a NY state information transfer to CGFNS.

Thanks for your answers

information or documents you already sent to CGFNS may be used again by CGFNS to process your Visa Screen. All other documents not included should be sent directly from the source.

You may find that the process of Visa Screen may be easier now since on the CVS, CGFNS directly verify your credentials from your school. So you have no control whatsoever on what transpires between your school and CGFNS. With the Visa Screen, you're the one who will request and communicate with your school, your board of nursing, etc. So you'll know for sure what's happening to all your documents.

I don't think CGFNS will let NY send them the transcripts and all. They can only send your NY license information, NCLEX information.
