hi, i have talked to an immigration lawyer and he says i can apply for an H1C visa so i can have a working visa to work in certain hospitals in california. is this ok? anyway, i wanna ask about my visa screen application, i have passed my nclex and ielts but i dont hav an ssn yet, my question is what would i put here n my visa screen, in the question did passing of this exam lead to license being issued? should i put no coz i dont hav an ssn yet or yes? and has my license been revoked or suspended or limited because of my ssn?

Sorry, but have not seen any hospitals currently offering the H1-C. The one that is listed has not been doing it lately.

You do not have a license issued as you do not have a SSN#. CA will send in the verification for you. You do not have any issues with your license as one has not been issued to you to start with.

License has not been issued, so you reply no to that answer.

But more importantly, you should be dealing with the facility directly and not an immigration attorney, or you could find yourself in trouble.

Unfortunately, we have seen quite a few give out very bad information to start off with. Would suggest that you contact the facility to find out directly from them if they offer this any longer, do not suspect that they are doing so at all.

The other major thing that you need to be aware of is that the H1-C is set to expire in 2010 and we do not think that it is going to be renewed. This would mean that you would have to leave the US, wonder if the attorney made mention to you of this little fact?
