Virtual ATI Time Frame

Hello guys! :inlove:

So, I've searched all these topics and can't seem to find a definite answer. My school requires us to do Virtual ATI (at our own expense booooo ) if we don't get a 72% on our comprehensive predictor. Of course, with my luck I got a 70% meaning a 91% chance of passing the NCLEX on the first time. My problem is that I have already been hired somewhere that requires I take the NCLEX within 60 days of graduating. I graduate July 28th, how long did it take you to do virtual ATI? I also know that if you don't pass the comprehensive predictor test in virtual ATI you have to wait 30 days to take it again, so this is REALLY freaking me out! Help a soon to be nurse out! Can I do it in less than a month?

It really depends on you. It only took me a couple weeks. Or program required it no matter what your score was.

One of the other students in my cohort skipped it entirely. She waited the 2 weeks it took our college to confer our degrees, got a copy of her transcripts and sent them in with her state application (the same way put of state applications do in NJ). She had her ATT quicker than anyone else in the class and tested almost that same month. Granted, she failed, but they had still accepted her application.

I'm on the same boat as you, @PsychNurse2be! I'm forced to take Virtual ATI and get the "green light" in order to graduate but I really can't afford to use the whole 12 weeks of it. I wanna know if we're able to do it at our own pace or if we need to finish the full 12 weeks in order to get the "green light." 12 weeks is way too long. I have to pass the NCLEX by October in order to get into the new grad program in the unit I currently work in. It's stressing me out!

I finished in a week. Week and a half.

Hi @Dreamofjeann! Thank you for replying! That's great to hear that we're able to do virtual ATI on our own pace and that it's possible to get the "green light" as early as a week! I was worried we were forced to take the full 12 weeks before we got the green light.

The 12 weeks is the max so whatever minimum time frame is up to you. The only thing though is I finished my greenlight way earlier than when I got my ATT. So in that instance I had wished I took my time so that everything was still "fresh"

Okay, that sounds good! I'll definitely pace myself then. I just know the full 12 weeks would be too much for me. Maybe taking 4-8 weeks will be good enough for me. I'll try talking to my virtual ATI coach & telling them about my situation & how I need to take my nclex by October. Thank you!!

Hi, can I please have any information about green light, I have heard its very hard to achieve a green light, how was the VAti predictor test? I have heard its very hard. Please help

Did you ever get your green light. I've been reading the comments and I'm in the same situation as you were in. VATI
