Can someone explain to me what VETPRO actually does for credentialing? I was able to contact one permanent employer but the remainder of my RN employment have been travel assignments, will that affect anything. I don't think I can get performance Evals from them .

VetPro is Veterans Health Administration's mandatory credentialing software platform to document the credentialing of VHA health care providers. This system facilitates completion of a uniform, accurate, and complete credentials file. Policy and procedure info at above link.
One needs to complete application in full, including 2 references - required by federal law; hospitals + healthcare facilities request performance evals and/or professional reference. Your travel company may be able to provide an eval from their credential files and of course verify employment.
Best wishes in securing VA position.
Thank you so much for your response, is there anything that can block you from getting the job once vet pro is completed, have you heard of that happening?
I'm aware of their software but never worked for them. VA hiring usually takes sometimes 6 months per our member reports so you will need to give it some time.
Thank you so much!

Yes, lying on VetPro. One common example is if you state that you resign from a job, but the background check confirms you were terminated. Also, wrong dates of employment.
