Hello fellow RN's.,
I hope you are all doing well. I have a question for any RN's working at Olive-View. I keep hearing that Olive-View only hires experienced nurses and no new grads. How accurate is that statement? Has Olive view ever hired any new grads? What are the exceptions? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

I graduated last dec and 2 of my classmates got hired at olive view in the last few months, they applied to open jobs and then they were sent info and test ect.., best of luck, I loved doing clinicals at olive view. I really felt like I was helping someone in need. I just dont like the idea working 5 days a week 8 hrs a day.
Thank you for replying. It's good to hear that there is hope. I've got an interview coming up but I keep reading posts here that say they want experience. So it's discouraging at times but either was I was prepared to go in as if I've never heard the experience requirement. I know all hospitals want experience but what can you so if no one gives you a job in acute care to gain that experience? Unless it's a new grad program which most often want a BSN. Anyhow thank you again for replying. Aren't some units 12 hour shifts?
