Valencia Nursing Program 2016

Hey! I'm in my second semester at Valencia. The program is HARD and overall it's alright. I did the concurrent program application so it took about 8 weeks to hear back from them. My first semester schedule I had class MTWTH 9am-12pm then T/Th lab from 12pm-4pm. I did fill out the appeal form and I received financial aid. The process is super easy and you'll get approved as long as they see you are actually motivated towards your Nursing degree.

Hello :) I also applied for Valencias traditional program for Fall 2016! I emailed them several days ago asking when we would get our decision letters and she said by mid June! Good luck to you can't wait to get my decision!!

I'm Rosa, I apply on March 17 and was offered a space at the end of April for the summer term but couldn't take it.... I hope they send me my acceptance letter soon :) I'm so excited and nervous!!! Good luck everyone!!!

Hi Rosa- good luck to you as well! Did you have to reapply for the Fall since you didn't attend in the summer? Do you recall how long it took to hear back on a decision?

It took about 5 weeks... they call me and I explained to them that I wanted to start on the fall and they say that they would be contacting me during the summer closer to the fall since they were trying to fill up all the spaces for the summer term first....

Yay! I am happy you all found my thread! I have been researching like crazy to find out more info about anything I possibly can lol I am so excited and nervous too! Hopefully we all hear back something soon! I attended an information session a few days ago, and the advisor said that if you submit your application on or before May 15th, that you are most likely to be admitted for the Fall term. Which spiked up the anxiety level! But I am sooo excited to start already!

Hi Julio! Good luck to you as well and everyone else! I'm still waiting! I heard from another member that they contacted Valencia and that if we don't hear anything back by the 20th to give them a call. Hopefully we hear something back by next week! I'm so excited and hope to meet you all!

That correct, that is what the answer center told me, that it's once you're accepted you can completed the FA appeal form. The deadline per the website is Aug 12.

I'm anxiously awaiting I check my email at least twice a day and with the phone by my side. If I hear anything I will be sure to let you guys know! I have a feeling it'll be sometime this week!
