Valencia College Fall 2013

Question to you is (I'm currently in valencia for nursing) what are you doing in your time off being on the waiting list? I don't know which campus you attend but I've decided that after this summer semester I'm going to polk state in winter haven there's no waiting list there, all they look at is TEAS (80)and GPA(3.0). And there's not that many people applying like there is an abundance in valencia. Just a thought. I mean there is one Intro class (which is like CNA class in a nursing home) that have to take prior to.

I have been finishing my AA degree so after I graduate nursing school I will go to UCF to get my BSN. I am already a CNA and working in a hospital. Polk Community? That's a pretty far drive...I am on the list to start May (summer) 2014 but people are starting 2 semesters early right now. I was just wondering if they started sending out emails for August (Fall) semester.

Yes, I believe they have already sent everything. I am going to be starting in the Fall.

Just got an e-mail today asking if I wanted to throw my name into the mix for a few open seats they have for Fall 2013 start. I am slated for May 2014. Hopefully I will be one of the few selected to start early. They said by July 1st we should know, hopefully earlier.

I wonder if they are doing this based on academics? Valencia is so secretive lol Like most of you all ladies I want to start ASAP too! How did you all do on the teas? My pre req gpa and overall are both good, but teas was my weakness. I am still planning to take it again.

Im hoping I can start sooner but im thankful I only have to wait a year. I am still going to apply to concurrent and UCF basic. What are your stats? How long did you have to wait? Congrats on being accepted! =)
