UW Oshkosh ABSN Interview Process?

Hi All,

I was wondering how the interview process is for the online ABSN program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. How should one prepare for the interview?

    I am replying to my own post to help future applicants. My interview went well; they were very nice! You will be interviewed by two people via phone. For my cohort, the interviewers asked everyone 7 questions. The questions were similar to those of a job interview. Make sure you understand how fast-paced the program is and are willing to forego employment while in the program.

    I recommend preparing by making a list of the common interview questions and typing out your answers. Also, make sure to review UW Oshkosh ABSN mission and values and provide examples of how your views/experiences align with theirs. Have a few questions to ask about the program after your interview is complete. I know it's a nerve-wrecking experience but try your best to relax!
