UW DNP 2023

Has anyone heard when they will be sending the update about timed essays?  I called them and they said probably by end of the week. 

Applied for AGFNP. No emails or updates about timed essays yet. 

Same here. No emails about timed online essay yet.

I just submitted my online essay and wow ? happy thats over but also I feel like I rushed my response and now nervous that might hurt my entrance opportunity. I even freaked out in the end and clicked submit without proofreading. What did you all think? (obviously without giving out too many details).

I applied to DNP PNP-PC.

Congrats on getting the online essay done! I'm so nervous that I keep pushing it off!! Did you practice prior? I know they mentioned that going over nursing interview questions are helpful. Do you agree with that?! Good luck everyone! I hope everyone on here gets in :)

I just completed the time essay! WOW! I agree with you, I'm so happy to be done and over with it! But man, I also felt rushed, and personally, I felt like the amount of time they gave us was not enough to feel like I answered the prompt confidently. But we will see. I do remember ---------------------- saying that the online essay is not weighed heavily, so I'm praying that it is true. 

I also freaked out towards the end when they were like you have so and so minutes to complete the essay! I was like oh goodness! Type FASTER! Get your point across. 

But for those who haven't done the online essay, you got this! Just answer the prompt to the best of your ability, don't add fluff to it, and do watch your time.

It all depends on the program and who is the track lead that year. The first-person to respond that they got in  on the 2022 feed was match 9

From my understanding they aren't interviewing this year. The timed essay was the replacement. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong!
