LOL - I understand... it's usually very difficult to talk about yourself in this way because none of us can really be objective. First, just start assembling your ideas and thoughts.

One way is to begin with a list of "I believe" & "I value" statements. Don't try to censor yourself. Just write down things as they occur to you. For instance, if you believe in God, write that down. If you believe that healthcare is a basic human right - add it to the list. If you believe that: pets provide emotional support.... sad movies are cathartic .... everyone looks great in the color teal .... quality of life is more important than quantity ... telling the truth unless it hurts someone's feelings? etc. Just keep adding to the list as things occur to you.

Next, do the same thing with your "I value" list. These are statements about things that are important to you. Do you value close friends? your integrity? Loyalty? Commitment? Perseverance? Honesty? Authenticity? It may help to engage close friends and family in the development of your lists. Then - examine those lists and figure out what they say about you.

There's a wonderful quote by Mahatma Gandhi: [h=1]Your beliefs become your thoughts, Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny.”[/h]So - reflecting on these underlying facets of "you" is a great way to tell the story of perez119.
