Fingers crossed haha thank you! That's awesome, how are things going?

HI! ? I applied also. I'm honestly not sure what my cumulative GPA is anymore, because we were military and I transferred schools several times. However, my BS GPA is 4.0 and my current school's GPA is a 3.94. Nursing GPA wise, I have a 4.0.

My TEAS scores:

Composite: 94.7%

Reading: 93.6%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 91.5%

English and Language Usage: 100.0%

I had a really bad run waaaay back when I first started school (in 2000). Took a several year break, and came back, finished a degree with a 4.0, and have continued on since then and have only gotten one B (in an unrelated to nursing course). In my essay, I explained what happened way back in 2000, and why my grades were SO bad. We'll see?

Nice to 'meet' you!! ?

Nice, looks like you’ll have a very strong application! It must’ve been tough being in the military and moving around so much. That’s awesome that you were able to keep your gpa up and do so well on the TEAS test. Good to ‘meet’ you as well and goodluck!

has anyone heard anything??

the wait time hasn't been as long as UIW (their app deadline was 1 month prior to UTH)... so maybe we have another month to go... ?

Hello all,

I was wondering, in order to apply to UTHSCSA, do we need a cumulative score of 65 on the TEAS? Or is there a minimum score we have to make on each of the sections as well in order to apply?

Thanks!

This is from their website: “Take the TEAs Exam with a minimum cut-off score of 65% to be eligible for admission. A reading score of 69% or below is used to identify students at risk. Students at risk will be required to complete the Weaver intensive reading program.” So unless there’s some hidden info, I don’t think there’s a minimum for each category.
