Hello, I was wondering if anyone was applying to the University of Texas Health Science at Houston Pacesetter Program for Fall 2016? I'm applying and was just looking for more candidates to chat with. (;

I'm applying to UT Health Fall of 2016 as well! As well as TWU and UTMB

Nice! Well good luck to you. I thought about UTMB, but my wife travels for work and we needed to be near a major city.

By the way, which is your first choice and why? If you don't mind(:

My top two choices are between UT-H and TWU for somewhat similar reasons, but I happened to hear that UTMB has given out a couple of full rides here and there (so I figured why not). I honestly don't know which one I prefer or which one is "better" to know which one should be my first choice. UT-H is higher ranked nationally, is cheaper than TWU (only by a small margin), and can be completed in 15 months. TWU on the other hand I believe has a smaller incoming class each semester, takes two years (which means I have more breaks to unwind and it isnt too fast paced). What about you? Thoughts?

I'm applying for Fall 2016, after looking at previous threads I'm a little discouraged lol

I applied to UTH Fall 2016. I heard from the admissions people that they will give out their acceptance letters April 2016. I'm not sure if they will be have an interview for the admissions process.

Yea I heard there is no interview it's just on gpa and HESI scores!

There is another thread for UTHSC fall 2016 with a lot more people just so you guys know! Search UTHSC fall 2016.

Yes, I guess we will see.

Cool, I'm graduating this Spring '16 from TWU-Denton with my BGS degree. I think nursing is the same no matter where you go. Especially in Texas. Some of my favorite nurses graduate from schools like TWU, UTHMC, and UTMB. I think TWU may be slightly cheaper, but it's better than the alternative private schools such as Baylor and TCU.

Hopefully we all get in. How many spots are there? 30?
