heyy!!

im a bsn degree holder in the philippines, Im a portuguese citizen. I came to the uk on 2014 and ive been working as a career for one year now, since i cannot be registered with the nursing governing body in the uk without any experience back home as a rn ( im also a holder of the Philippine license)

im currently studying for the nclex and going to the process of applying to nclex in NY.

I would like to know if any of you have an idea how can i get a working visa or any kind of visa that could help me work . I want to apply for NY. And how will (estimate) it take?

    The process for NY BON is long as it takes approx 6 months to go through the CVS process and then another 1-2 months before getting eligibility to sit NCLEX. Where in NY are you planning on living and working? That will have a impact on finding a employer willing to pay $$$ for you and willing to wait before you get to the US and work. If NY City then expect a difficult long process as many US nurses are struggling for work.
