Any students or graduates who recently completed or newly accepted into the University South Alabama Informatics program. I would like advice on how to succeed through the program as a new mother while working full time. I have been working in med-surg unit at for 2 years and have decided bedside nursing its not for me. I also have a background as a data entry technician prior to becoming a nurse. Frankly, I am a bit fearful going into this program with an infant and working. I do have the support of my husband but he is a currently full time engineering student as well. I have been offered to take 8 semester 2yr accelerated vs a 11 semester 3 yr program. I appreciate any advice on which route to go, and how to succeed in this program? Thank you.
