US-RN, how long do we have to wait?

I'm a 41 year old Filipino US-RN with an active Vermont license and working as an OR nurse here in Philippines. Until now, I still have my dream and hope that someday I'll be working in the US as a nurse. Do you think it's worth the time to wait for more years until my priority date be called and processed (mine is 2008) considering the ones being process now are those of 2005 and 2006? There are some call centers/BPO's here in Manila looking for US-RN's and they are offering a pretty good salary. The offers are very good but I'm afraid to take the job because almost all of US hospitals are asking for a clinical exposure/experience in case my priority date comes and I can apply in US hospitals. Do you think it is realistic and practical to wait for some more years or just grab the call center/BPO jobs?

People have to survive somehow. The US option is now very bleak.

Recession is so bad here on USA right now even the new graduates here having hard time to get in.I will be more practical for now

And a strong word of caution to all PH graduates - avoid California. There is a an almost 100% chance that you would be denied licensure.
