Update Nclex pn 4/2019

Oh i was too, and because i took it on a saturday it made it even worse bc they dont post on the weekends! ? so i was a nervous wreck! Mine cut off at 85 and i was not ao confident walking out of there.. But i just prayed and the outcome was a success! Have you gotten your results yet? Did u try the pvt?

Hi, this is my first time using this website. I always read what other people write and first time posting myself. So I took my nclex yesterday May 13,2019 and just found out that I passed I got an email from KBN which I wasn’t expecting, I was waiting for 48 hrs to pass and pay for the quick results. This was my 3rd time taking the test and which I graduated in December, 2015. I have 3 little kids back to back so just couldn’t study anymore. But I decided to go back to studying and started to study again in January and im soooo glad i did. My test ended on question 90 which I was really freaking out after it shut off. I got out of the testing room and started to cry, came home cried the whole day and prayed. I was thinking to myself did I really do that bad again cause my first time I went all the way to 205 and my second did horrible shut off at 85. So I was thinking to myself that I couldn’t have done that bad again cause this time I studied really hard. And it worth it I finally passed my PN and im sooo sooo happy right now. Good luck to all of you out there who took the test and who is going to take the test. Never give up!

For every one that took it and passed, what did you use to study?

Just wanted to share my story. I read and read people’s stories before and after taking the NCLEX until I found out the results !

I had so much anxiety I did well in class but ATI was challenging for me and I did all of VATI and still had 78% chance of passing . I scheduled my test with one of the girls I also went to school with . We went down the night before and did some shopping ate good and stayed in a hotel that was directly across from Pearson VUE . We had to be there at 7:30 . Could barely sleep was just so anxious ! We get there and get through everything and my friend went first and I went a few min after . I put on the ear muffs to block out noise and all I could hear was my own heartbeat , but if I took them off all I could hear was clicking of the mouse . I was sweating , it was awful ! So I start taking my test and I got to question 87 and I really had to use the restroom so I raised my hand and went and my friend was already done ! I freaked out I sat at the desk and cried ! I seen her crying which made my anxiety just sky rocket ! (Pros and cons of going with someone ) . So I get myself together and after 205?s and 3 1/2 hours I was done ! I walk out with my head low and her and I cried alll the way home . She got done in 85’s. I didn’t think I passed like no chance what so ever !! I was to scared to do the “trick” everyone talks about on Pearson VUE website . We read lots of experiences by people , cried a lot , I even did ati and we both just supported eachother . I couldnt sleep all night and I had made sure my email notifications were on and dinged and ringed . I had set my alarm to wake up at 7 am even though I didn’t really sleep. Well at 6:48am my email came I had passed I was so excited I couldn’t stand it ! My husband thought our house was on fire ! I called my friend and she hadn’t got her email yet it was the worst 10 min of our lives ! But she passed also ! So even though we both thought we had failed we both passed ! So if your reading this keep your head up and try not to stress to much ! Worst that happens is you have to retake the test even though it would be difficult to have to go threw it twice .
