UNLV Spring 2020

Just wanted to create a thread for those who are applying for the Spring 2020 semester. Does anyone have tips to prepare for nursing school? What's the process like? It is a huge transition? Thanks in advance.

Have they ever taken this long before? I feel so anxious ?

I havent gotten anything yet... weird..

Should one of us call the SON? ?

Yeah i was thinking about that today ?

Hi guys, I have some kinda good news. I actually called the school of nursing and they said that they are still reviewing the applications. There are a couple of petitions and other things that are being reviewed. The girl I spoke to said hopefully the emails will be sent by the end of this week at the latest. I hope this helps some of you guys relax.

Thanks for doing that for us.

Do you think some of the petitions are because of math 124? Because they just recently changed it from math 120 to math 124 as the requirement.

??? When did they change that. I was always told it was 120 or 124. I took 120 and no one said anything when I applied.

I have no idea. I wasn’t told anything. Also I started off in a different major so I took math 181... ? I hope that’s okay. I also think unlv is doing RN-BSN now, maybe they have to do those applications too?

The health science advisor told me they are in the process of changing it to 124 or higher, they were going to implement the change for those applying to spring 2020 but looks like they are holding off on that change for now.

Thank you for calling! I feel less anxious now.
