UNC FNP Fall 2012

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out there has applied to the FNP program at UNC Chapel Hill for the fall of 2012? If so, have you heard anything back from them?

I am starting to get very anxious as I have not heard a thing and my application status online consistently states "submitted". Just hoping to find some reassurance that I have not been overlooked! Online it states it can take 12 weeks from the application due date. It is now over that time frame (however, this information is from 2010).

I applied December 11th and I haven't heard a thing! I have been checking myunc and it still says that no decision has been made. Very frustrating!

I literally just found out that I got into UNC!! They sent out an email indicating that a decision had been made and I was able to log on and read the decision letter! I am SO excited... but also baffled because I absolutely was positive I did not get in!

I hope that you receive the same news I did!

Now to start job and apartment hunting in the Chapel Hill area!

I'm actually going to decline the offer :S Sounds crazy I know, but I got accepted to Vanderbilt as well, and I've spent the past two days deciding and comparing the two. Finally, the shorter program at Vandy has hooked me!!! So, I'll be looking for apartments in Nashville!!! Good luck to you at UNC! Go Tarheels! :)
