Jun 29, 201214 yr Good campus, very expensive. That is about all of the insight that I have to offer. Sorry.
Jun 29, 201214 yr Author That's okay, thanks for the reply! I go there now (thanks to scholarships) and I want to do the nursing program but I am not sure if it is a good program.
Jun 29, 201214 yr I've heard both positive and negative things about their program. What I have heard (from nurses graduating from there and staff at local area hospitals) is that the UMHB nurses tend to be GREAT with the paperwork aspect of things, but lacking in clinical skills. My advice would maybe be to work really hard on getting a strong skill set while there.
Jun 30, 201214 yr Author Awesome, thanks for the advise. I am hoping to get a job as a nurse tech next summer. Im not exactly sure what nurse techs do; but I was thinking it was along the lines of what a CNA does.
