UMHB Fall 2014 class

I saw that previous classes started threads when they received their admissions emails into University of Mary Hardin Baylor nursing program to start the process of getting to know one another prior to the information sessions. My name is Jamal but I go by J. I am an Air Force veteran of 10.5 years and I am excited to say that I have been accepted into the UMHB nursing program beginning this fall. I can't wait to meet my new classmates and begin this journey soon.

Prior to nursing I was a mechanic in the Air Force and as a civilian. I am very interested in Psychiatric Nursing as a specialty in the future hence the name, "Psych Mechanic". I hope to hear from my future classmates soon, take care.

J

Hello Jamal, my name is angelica and I am also starting this fall. Prior to nursing I was working as a Program Coordinator in Medical Center in San Francisco for a little more than a decade. I just recently moved to Texas with my family(Husband in the army). Are you coming to the orientation on the 22nd?

Hello Angelica,

Congrats on your acceptance into the program. My wife is in the Army as well, we just moved here from Hawaii in January. I wish I could make the orientation on the 22nd, i have an appointment on Ft Hood that may conflict if it runs late. I am looking forward to meeting you as well as our other classmates soon.

J
