UMDNJ Accelerated program

Published

Hi everyone, I'm new here and happy to have found this forum.

I have applied to UMDNJ back in early May and still waiting to hear from them. I am hoping to get into the Accelerated BSN program for Spring.

Has anyone applied to this school or has been accepted?

I was wondering how strict they are in choosing applicants and how many students actually get accepted. Is there a waiting list? I have tried calling Student Services, but they don't give a straight answer. They also don't give a status over the phone. They said just to wait for a letter in early Oct.

Hi did you get in? I wonder why I havent heard anything?

just wondering are you in for fall or summer? I am waiting for the fall? I am going to call now.

thanks

I'm starting in the Fall. Has anyone received any Financial Aid Papers yet?

I haven't received any Financial Aid paperwork. I'm anxious to know if I was approved for any loans/grants/any financial aid.

You'll get a tid-bit of information during orientation and you won't know actual $$$$ figures until financial aid works things out...usually by mid-semester. Good luck and keep your composure.

Does that mean then, they won't be expecting any $$$$ up front besides the $100 tuition deposit?

Pretty much. Just monitor your tuition statements online and make sure that you don't get late fees. If you do, and you're waiting for FA to go thorugh, they're pretty good in removing the charges.

Thanks, decartes. Any advice on the program? professors? classes? I plan on working PT @ a hospital once I start.
