Greetings to everyone. i am practically new here. im a nurse from Poland, with 2years experience from neurology. have a masters degree from nursing science. was just wondering :

1. what band im gonn be in Uk with MSN and 2years experience

2. and how does one get promoted say 5 to 6 , etc..

pay bands depend on the Job you are employed in rather than on the qualifications you hold i.e. being qualified in 'excess' of those required for a role will not get you upgraded unless the job is redesigned to take account of that.

you will progress through increments on a yearly basis assuming you meet the foundation and fully competent nowledge and skills gateways.

promotion is entirely dependent on the jobs available at the time and whether you are successful in your application, there are people who have got band 6 within a coupel of year s of qualification ( and arguably before they are actually ready) and there are people who never ever apply for more senior roles becasue they are quite happy with the 30k + GBP that someone on the top increment of band 5 wil earn if they work a rotating shift pattern.
