UIC AGMS INTERVIEW 2020

I still have not heard from the school. Has anyone yet? I am wondering if I should email them.

I actually just emailed them this morning. They said invites will be sent out next week and the interviews will take place Feb 19th-21st!

I have been emailing them because I was concerned! I went to an information session back in December and the guy mentioned that if you have a complete application and meet all of the GPA requirements you will automatically be brought in for an interview. He then said that the interview will be held the week of Feb 17. I have still not heard a peep, so I have been emailing them nonstop for answers. The guy emailed me this morning and said that the invitations have not been sent out, which I think is unfair to those who may need to come in from out of town to interview! Hopefully, they send them out soon!

Did anyone else get the email about mock interviews and planning on attending?

Yep I got that email too! However, I do not plan on attending since I am out of state. I emailed admissions too to see what was up with interview invites and I got a response saying they might be sent out either this week or early next week... I think it’s unfair to us that they are sending out invites last minute like this. Some are coming from far away, some need to get work off, and some need time to mentally prepare for a graduate school interview. I hope they push back the interview dates at least a week to give the time people need to plan!

Ok I FINALLY got the invitation for the interview! Mine is scheduled for the 19th. Did anyone else hear back from them??

Nothing yet. Did your invitation come via email? And may I ask when you submitted your application?

Yes it came via email last Thursday. I applied in mid December.

Ah ok thanks! I didnt submit my application until the end of December and one of my recommendation letters wasn't submitted until Jan 15 so I'm hoping they just havent gotten to me yet ?

Got my invitation today! Yay! Interviewing this week ?
