UCF Concurrent Programs Fall 2016

Published

Hi everyone! I have been desperately waiting to hear back from Seminole State Concurrent program for Fall 2016 and I just applied to Valencia Concurrent for Fall too. I am super nervous because I have heard that Seminole state only takes about two people per semester that were completing their last pre-req during the semester they applied. I also have a 85% on TEAS but a 3.0 Science pre-req GPA. My other GPAs are high but I have heard that the science pre-req is most important. Is anyone else in the same position as me? or have any other information?

Hi,

I plan to apply for the Spring and Summer for both Seminole and Valencia concurrent, but I've never heard about them only taking 2 people in your situation. I highly doubt it's true, don't let others get into your head! It is true that science pre-reqs are VERY important, I found this out through a nurse counselor during degree audit.

I do wish you the best of luck :)

hi! I actually just got accepted yesterday with my 3.0 science pre req and I was still completing microbio so I didn't have all pre reqs done! If you go on the college of nursing website and look at admission statistics, for Seminole state it says number of people accepted and I think it said 68 and then it said number of people accepted with all pre reqs done by application and it said 66 which leaves only two people who were in my situation. Maybe what it says on their website is wrong though because I got in! I am so excited!!! Good luck to both of you!!!
