I am enrolling in TRCC to pursue the Associates Degree in Nursing. Has anyone had any trouble getting in to this program? I notice they only accept 30 applicants per year.
Thanks!

Hey Gwen. I am enrolling there as well! I haven't been accepted, but they do require an entrance exam in the spring before you start summer/fall nursing classes. Maybe we'll run into each other...Good luck!

Hey guys I am currently enrolled in the TRCC nursing program. I just finished my 3rd semester today!!!!! I graduate in May 07 from TRCC (hopefully)! Anyway, just wanted to say since TRCC opened up there night program as well as the day classes it is not as hard to get in. You do have to take the entrance exam, if you do well on it you have a chance at 60 spots instead of just 30. Only prob. with that is that if you live out of TRCC district they only take a few out of district spots. The majority of the spots are for in district students, stinks I know I'm one of the out of district ones. If you guys have any questions just let me know, I will be glad to help. Good luck getting in.

Hello guys!
I will be taking the entrance test in Feb. I have been going to TRCC for the past few years trying to get all the classes out of the way. This spring I will have the last of them done. I have kept my full-time job and finally taking the test.
TRCC is a great school I wish you all the best of luck there.

Hello,
I'm applying at TRCC nursing program for the fall (2007). A question for those who have already taken the entrance exam, what book did you study and did it help you on the exam. I purchased the ARCO study book at the TRCC book store. Just wondering if theres any other book that might help me get a higher score on the exam.
Thanks inadvance.

I graduated from TRCC nursing program in 2006! Loved it! It was harder to get in when I applied, but not impossible. I was one of the origional 30 to get in my class. It is a very good program and they try to prepare you for the "real world". Good luck everyone!!
Hi,
I didn't get to take the exam in Feb, because my father passed away and I was out of town. But my Neice flew back just in time to take the test and did very well, she was accepted into the program that starts this Fall.:) :) She is very excited!
I plan to take the exam this July for the program that starts in the Spring!
