....not all it's cracked up to be. Oh yeah I'm loving the money!!$$$$$$$ but miss being home with hubby and peta and my Home. Can't seem to find a hospital without driving over a hour...so I dunno.

Just needed to vent I guess. Hope something comes up for me eventually! Not an option to rent our home, or for hubby to travel with me. Just feeling discouraged...

Can't you just move all together? I am a traveler and I love it. I have a husband, 3 kids and a cat. We left everything to travel. My hubby quit his job and everything. It was hard at first but well worth it in the end.

No its not really doable. Hubby has Parkinsons disease early onset and has to be followed by a specialist. And the cats would hate traveling.

And what do you with a house all full of your possessions? Easy for some perhaps but you give up alot to leave your home and family to do this job; thats all I'm saying.

What do you mean what do you do with a house full of your possessions? You leave them there. You don't live on the road. I disconnect the utilities and pack what I need. I only travel 6 months a year, which is essentially 2 contracts. Sometimes I don't even do back to back contracts. I'm home a lot. And it wasn't easy for me by far, but like I said it was well worth it. My cat hates traveling too but she's gotten used to it. Maybe traveling just isn't for you. Is there anything else you could do in your home town? United Healthcare hires antepartum home care nurses in remote areas. It doesn't pay as much as traveling (few jobs do) but that might work for you if there is no hospital around.
