Traditions where you work

Several years ago there was an old blackboard leaning on a wall in the cafeteria. People started writing funny quotes on it. Finally a cashier hung it up and began a quote-of-the-day tradition. I provided her with a book on quotes. Others submitted them as well. During remodeling the board disappeared and WOW! people complained. Now there is a nicely framed board in the cafeteria with daily quotes. I hear people discussing them in the hall. This is an example of how small things can be so meaningful.
