Tpapn Direct Supervision?

Published

Hello

i am required to have direct supervision for 6 months. Can anyone tell me how this works and while being in a nursing home? All the guide says is the supervisor has to be on the same unit. Will me and my supervisor work together with each patient or will we be assigned different patients on the same hall. I have no idea so I’m really wondering.

In PA, it means your supervisor must be in the building while you are there. Not necessarily walking side by side, with the same patient assignment. But they are simply there at all times your are, and are aware of your contract, work restrictions, etc.

At least that's what I've always been told.
