Tpapn crna

Are there any other TPAPN CRNAs out there having trouble finding a job as an RN? I have been in TPAPN almost 6 months now after self reporting due to treatment for alcoholism. I never drank at work and had no problems at work but was forced to leave my anesthesia group due to the fact I couldn't practice anesthesia for 1 year under TPAPN. I've been unable to even get past a phone interview (if I even get that) because the first question I get when a potential employer sees my resume is "why are you looking for an RN position if you are a CRNA?" Anyone else out there having or had this same problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am in the Beaumont, TX area.
