Towson Fall 2016

Hey, is anyone else starting the nursing program at Towson this fall?? (2016)

I'm starting as a transfer student and have no idea what I'm doing. have not received much information about next steps since April. I need some reassurance that others are just as lost as me.. Also I don't know anyone else starting... I'm super friendly.. any one?!?! :)

Katrina.

Hi - my daughter is considering applying to Towson and then to the nursing program. She still needs some pre-reqs as she started at a liberal arts college and then decided on nursing. Can you tell me how your experience has been? She is in her second semester of her Sophomore year currently.

Hi Debra,

That's great that your daughter is interested in nursing! Towson has been good so far some aspects are a little unorganized but I hear that's with every program. I definitely encourage her to apply to multiple programs because it's nice to have a choice. A good thing about towson is that it's slightly cheaper than other universities but depending on how far you live from campus commuting can be a bit rough if you're not looking into living on/by campus. It's not a perfect program but I don't have much else to compare it too so I really don't know how much advice I can give. All in all its been fine for my first semester. There are some complaints but I'm sure every program has faults. I would recommend towson but definitely apply to several programs like I said.

Best of luck to your daughter!!
