Hi all nurses,
I am currently working as a tele nurse in a community hospital.. I just started a per diem position at a new hospital. I just completed my two week general nursing orientation and am about to start my floor orientation per diem this week.
Heres my dilemma, I just got offered a full time position at a MAGNET hospital that I plan on taking. I plan on leaving my full time position and staying on per diem. How do I go about going to leaving the per diem job I just started. I feel terrible but I got to do what's best for me.
Any suggestions, how to let my new per diem hospital know and quitting gracefully?
Been there,done that, ASN, RN

What's so special about MAGNET? I worked in one,it was a hellhole.
Resign from the new job ,before they give you anymore orientation. You do not have to elaborate on the reason why.
thanks.. i didnt get paid for my orientation.. are they still obligated to pay me for it?
You showed up, you are a professional.. just wait for the check.
