Is now (or within the next 2-3 months) too soon to start applying to an NP program to start in Fall 2017? I'm still active duty navy, and will separate in late 2017, but do i need to wait til closer to apply? Just looking for a realistic timeframe.
Thanks

It never hurts to start gathering information as to what each school requires and getting those documents together. Some want an essay so you can work on writing that. I spent 2 months writing a statement of purpose for my DNP application. I would say get started by contacting each school that is potentially one you might apply to. Find out when the application period opens and when the deadlines for each item you need to submit are. Send emails to the directors of each program to get information. Applying for grad school can be time consumming. Will you need to take the GRE or other admissions tests? Good luck from a former squid to a current squid.
