I am a married Filipino nurse who is currently applying for UK. My ageny are currently looking for an employer that will hire me. With this regard, I am also aware that the employer is the one to get working visa for me through sponsorship and will fall under the tier 2 visa. In connection with this matter, I would like to ask on how can i bring my husband with me and what are the assurance that we can leave my country-philippines together. I have learned from the information that in tier 2 visa I have the capacity to bring my husband with me at the same time. AS STATED BELOW BY AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER
"Your husband will be able to apply at the same time as your applciation, so he will be added as a dependant on your application.
Or
You can apply for a dependancy visa after you have your Tier 2 visa, both applications will get him the same visa, they are only being applied for differently."
does anyone here who has a tier 2 visa that has been permitted by their uk employer to include their dependant(spouse) in the application of their tier 2 visa?-which means that the dependant of a migrant with tier 2 visa is being included in the free acommodation provided by the employer. thank you so much and i hope you can help me with this enquiry.
kind regards,

Have you checked out the UK Borders Agency website?
I haven't heard of dependant being included in the free accommodation, usually you are expected to pay for them (if I remember rightly that was what happened when some Philippine nurses where employed by a hospital I worked at several years ago)
UK Border Agency | Partners and other family members
hi!
thankyou for your prompt reply. yes i have checked from the uk borders agency website. this is stated in their website:
This requirement can be met by:
having savings of £533 which must have been held for at least three months prior to the date of • application; or
the Tier 2 A-rated sponsor providing a written undertaking that, should it become necessary, • it will maintain and accommodate the family member until the end of the first month of employment. The undertaking may be limited provided the limit is at least £533 per family member.
But i guess you are right that no employer will provide a written document that will state this benefit, so i should consider the second option that i will just apply for my husband separately but at the same time with me.
"
Can my dependants make their own application?
Your dependants can apply for permission on their own if they want. They will need to meet the requirements of the immigration category that they want to apply under.
If they do apply, their application will be considered separately to yours and we cannot guarantee that both applications will be successful or that they will be given permission to enter or stay for the same length of time as you."
