This may be a silly question re: entrance exams

Does EVERY nursing school have entrance exams? None of the information I've received/read about the nursing schools in my area say anything about placement tests.

I think every school is different and the best thing to do is contact the admissions offices of the schools you are interested in and ask. It is information they should readily give over the phone :)

Good luck!

I began to get worried when I saw all the posts about the entrance exams on this board too! I contacted my college. They told me the entrance exam is not a required part of the petitioning or acceptance process. Although my sister had to take the NET after she was already accepted into the program, so I don't really understand that part.

I found that the C-Net exam is the univeral test of most of the entrance exams in the LPN programs and the only way to get these study guides is to order them, there websit is www.cnetnurse.com
