Hey guys, I've been working in a jail for a couple months and it is'nt that bad. The problem is its 2nd shift and only 32 hours a week. Therefor I have to work 2 other jobs (also 2nd shift) to pay all the bills and loans. One is a factory and the other a nursing home a couple days a month. I just found out there is an opening on 3rd for full-time and I think it pays about a dollar more an hour. I also heard the work is easier and less hectic at night, but it is completely different with different responsibilities. I'm not sure if I should inquire about it or not. I'm just starting to get into the grove of the job now, but I am also already getting tired of working practically every day. If I got the new position, I could finally quit the factory job, but sleeping during the day is going to be hard, especially in the summer. I am a night owl and stay up half the night anyway now, but it is easier to get to sleep when its still quiet and dark out. I know I have to act quick as they are already interviewing for it as nobody else on the other shifts wants it. Any thoughts?
