thinking about going to np school

I feel its time in my life to advance my career, I graduated my adn with a 2.96gpa and a 3.7 in nursing. Bsn from wgu with. 4.0. Been a nurse 3.5 years employed full time med surge. My wifes graduating from rn school this summer.

Ive really been kicking the idea of np school. I can cut down to 2 days a week working. That would leave me 30-35 hours a week to do school work. I'd like to stay in that that range. I have a family and need to alot time to spend with them.

I guess my question is, what schools would you guys recommend looking into for my situation? How practical is getting accepted with my gpa?
