THINGS you've said when you're late for work

 My cat shut off my alarm clock, this actually happened!

I woke up one morning and it was 0658. I was to be at work by 0700. I had a 20 minute drive to work. I called in, very tired, and said 'my cat shut off my alarm clock'.

I did my best to get to work as soon as I could. Well I heard about this for awhile. The girls really found it funny. 'IT'S TRUE' I SAID.

I later realized that Yes, my cat had walked on the clock, but the alarm had a button that would have to be shifted to one side, vertually impossible for a cat to do (unless you train it).

Now, well, I try to remember to set my alarm clock.

What's your story?
