The NCLEX

Someone please offer me a little light on the subject. I just finished and it shut off at 135. All i have heard for the last week is , 75 is the key number. I felt much better than that going in.

From what we have been told you can just as easily fail the test at 75 as with 175 or greater but you can also pass with these numbers as well. Several of the students that I knew that took the NCLEX last year had as many questions as 145 and still passed. Also, several times I have been told by instructors that everyone has a chance at getting "experimental" questions that don't really even count as far as passing or not. Then you get the ones that will get the full 265 questions and still pass!! I hope you live where you can get your results online in a couple of days!! I just think you never know with the NCLEX.

Easy for me to say to try to chill out and just wait on the results b/c I haven't done it yet, but try to use some of the relaxation techniques that we were taught in school until you can see your results.

I will be thinking good thoughts for you to pass!! Let us know how you do and remember in a couple of weeks when I am on the other end freaking out of just what I said above :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the support. I guess I thought that I would be one of those people that the computer shuts off at 75. I always did well on the standardized tests. We will see. I think I got the last several right, hopefully that is a good sign.
