Hello, I am currently trying to enter the LPN program @ a local college. I have completed everything except the entrance interview. My date for that interview is on June 13, 2005. I have heard that I pretty for sure in unless I just make a complete butt out of myself! Is this true, or is this just a way to weed out the non nurse potentials. And what should I be expecting as in line of questions. I really want this bad, don't want anything to get in my way. I have came to far to mess this up for me. I just want to say that I love this website, I find it to be soothing.
Thanks, Bobbye :)

Hello,
I just returned from "the" interview, although this is through a vo- tech program I can tell you the process, I had to do a "spontaneous" essay
which consisted of 2 prompts,
1) what made you choose to become a nurse, include three factors
2) What do you expect to learn from the program.
Then came the actual interview questions, basically 4 questions
1) why do you want to be a nurse
2) what have you done to prepare for the program
3) what is your support system like
4) what would your best friend say about you
My interview went well, but I know that I will be put in the "pool" because my test score wasn't that high, and with only 30 seats open , I prolly wont get in. But I can still keep my fingers crossed (anythings possible)
Good luck on your interview.
