WOW!!!!

Less than 8 days till the student to student then orientation and class. My husband told me he knows its getting closer to the start of school because I am a nervous nelly and grumpy stinker (I cleaned up what he actually said :) ). Anyway I am looking forward to seeing/meeting the rest of my classmates (I'm in the evening classes). I think it is kind of cool how the first week we will all be going during the day. Gotta run we are painting the living room and dinning room trim today and we are almost complete. See yall next week.

well.....how was it?

well.....how was it?

It was really good! I had a lot of questions answered. I wasn't exactly sure about my parking options, and they clarified that. I was wondering what I'd do for food, and they named a few places nearby. I didn't know that there are refrigerators that students can use in the lounge. I'd definitely be bringing food with me from home. The deans introduced themselves. The leaders of the different organizations were there and talked about what they do. I actually joined CASN. Every since I was in junior high, I've always participated in extracurricular activities, even through my senior year in high school. I was president of almost every club I joined. When I started college, I wasn't involved in anything. I've always enjoyed being a part of something greater, and this whole time I've felt as if something was missing--as if I wasn't getting the full college experience. So I joined, and I'm excited about that. The different organizations had tables set up and they were selling t-shirts, sweaters, hats, caps, umbrellas, bags, stethoscopes (not Littmann), penlights, CSN binders, and other things you may need for school. There was an entire breakfast table set up with free Krispy Kreme donuts, yogurt, milk, juice, and coffee. We were well taken care of. SGA leaders were there to answer any questions that we had, and they also told us about some good books that we should invest in. I know this post was long, but I'm so excited about school, and I'm just trying to give future students a feel of what's to come! Only 5 days, 10 hours, and 30 minutes left until I start NURSING SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :monkeydance:

Ok, I started this thread and it is exactly 17 hours till orientation starts. I was the one at student to student that knew about the University Hospital cafeteria being open in the next few months. I enjoyed last wed. meeting. But the room was to hot. During breaks I would go into the gym and it was freezing in there I wonder if tomorrow it will be as cold. Did you notice the bag that the exiting student body president was using. It was GREAT!!! It held everything he needed all his text books, a lap top, binders etc. It had wheels and a colapsable handle. I asked him about it. He had been a pharmacy rep. before going back for his RN and it was part of his drug rep kit. I can only emagine if we wanted to buy something like it how much it would cost. But boy do I want it. What will everyone wear to orientation tomorrow. I want to be comfortable but I want to look professional at the same time. I hope that is possible. Also today we can access our school email but we wont be able to get on to the bulletin board till monday according to the tech support people. :( I had hoped to have downloaded the class sylabyse/requirements/assignments before class started. See everyone tomorrow. A hint to who I am is my last name and my screen name I am older and have blond hair. Find me and lets talk :)

I think I remember who you are! Were you the one who didn't know what your school e-mail address was???? Anyway, I will be dressing comfortably tomorrow. I will wear one of the CSN tshirts I bought at the student-to-student, jeans, and some flip flops probably. I'm guessing that's normal to wear...I HOPE! What's everyone else wearing?????
