my thankyous

i just came home yesterday from surgery .i had it done at my local community hospital.i worked there and may parents had as well.i have also been there as an inpt 3 times.other then minor issues i had good experiences.but i was eally nervous abot the surgery .not that i had any doubts about my surgeon or staff .its just that i have only had 1 other operation.while i am having more pain then i expected my care was very well done.from the surgeons to anesthesia and especially the nurses.i went to medsurg floor postop i had a very diff roomate .i was in tears and didn't want to complain .but my nurses new the issue and moved me intop a semi private that was empty for the nightso i could rest .everyone new i was nurse but i don't believe that why i got good care .the nght shift nurse i had 2 nights in a row was fabuluous .even support staff aides houdekeepers were fab.i know theses nurse all had 4-6 pts .but the always asked me how i was and if i needed anythng.i just want to say thanks to all the nurses out there .

It's good to hear that you had a positive experience...for the most part....with the surgery and care you received.

I hope your recuperation goes well.
