Texas Tech FNP program

Hello!

I'm looking into the online FNP program at Texas Tech University. Was wondering if anyone had anything to share about the program? Pro's, con's, etc...

Thanks!

great program, poor clinical site identification support. not much of a barrier if you have contacts in the profession, but can be frustrating when looking and explaining to care providers your purpose and scope.

how soon they will notify you with acceptance leeter and is it hard to get in to texas tech with GPA 3.5 for FNP

Did you get into tech? How many students did they take? How long is the program? How long did it take to notify of acceptance once application deadline?

No i didnt get in. even my GPA wa 3.5

I reapplied

viranimehboob,

I applied for Spring 2012. I was told they only accept 30% of total applicants. Which is not alot when you have over 400 applicants. How long did it take to get your notification and did they tell why you were not accepted and ways to increase your chances. That makes me real nervous and anxoius! Keep me posted when you hear something. There is not alot of discussion on texas tech fnp.
