Texas Tech Abilene Spring 2016

Published

Hi everyone! I was just recently accepted into Texas techs abilene program for spring! I didn't see any thread on here for spring so i decided to make one. I have a few questions. How is the abilene program compared to lubbock? what are good furnished apartments to stay in? (i found the grove and liked them but read lots of bad reviews?) I'm looking for a roommate as well! (:

Congrats! I will be applying this summer for spring 2017. Good luck and I'd love any info you have to share!!

hello, i got accepted for Fall 2016

I have been accepted into the Spring 2017 BSN program for the spring as well in Abilene! Wednesday, October 19th at 9am we are having a tour of the campus scheduled if you would like to join Katelyn and I. The level 2 program has less than half of the original amount of students in it. I am unsure about which apartments are better on that side of town, ask around if you're able to with the current people living there. I have heard that the grove is not very great, though, but I am not sure specifics. I hope we get to meet you (and anyone else who got accepted for the Spring 2017 at Abilene) tomorrow! :D

LynnzyB- are you talking about the accelerated 2nd degree BSN program? I haven't heard of a tour?

I am first degree traditional BSN, and Katelyn and I just requested to be able to see the campus tomorrow. We had gone last week, but there was a luncheon so we made an appointment for tomorrow, but I do not see why y'all couldn't walk around as well with us. We have seen the front area and obviously part of upstairs where the interviews were, Theresea(?) from the front office is showing us around the rest of the building since we have been accepted into the program. One of our friends is in either level2 or 3 and she said that only about half of the students are still in the program and that level 1 is the hardest since that is when the most information is given.

Oh. I see. Ours is a 1 year accelerated program for people who already have a degree. We had our interviews in Lubbock or Austin. :)
