Okay I'm writing this because I genuinely don't know what to do. I am graduating next May with my Bachelors of Science in allied health. I already have all prerequisites and am looking at programs I could do. I honestly have a pretty bad GPA... like below a 3.0 in terms of science prerequisites as I took some of the important ones during covid and I was really struggling with my mental health. My overall GPA is better but still I'm not sure what programs are available for me. I do have certifications and volunteer/job experiences that could help me out.
Are there any specific programs I could potentially get into around the DFW area? Whether that be all in person or online/in person clinicals. I have become a much better student and I am confident I can do well, I just don't think most schools would give me a chance. Would I be better off looking at normal BSN programs or would accelerated BSN programs still be an option for me? Or should I maybe look at ADN programs and do BSN later? I want to preface that I am from Dallas so if I went the ADN route I feel like I would have a harder time getting a job as an RN.
Please be kind in the responses I am already upset about my chances so I don't really need a lecture on how I should've done better in school. Thank you in advance.
