Testing in 10 days

I am testing in 10 days and getting really anxious and nervous. It seems like I can't never get prepared for the test but I know I waited for this for such a long time and as much as I want to hold it off I have to do this or else I will get nowhere. This is my second time and hopefully my last (keeping my fingers crossed) , the only advantage I have is since its my second time I know that the test is really hard and will drain my neurons so I am prepared for that, what I'm not prepared is what questions are they going to ask (I guess nobody knows except the computer). I am using Kaplan as my main review source, I bought a lot of books to review like Saunders, Lippincott's, Exam cram, PDA but I mainly use Kaplan and PDA because using too many resources just made me more anxious.(That is just me) I just finished my kaplan Q7 today my scores are:

Q1-59

Q2-59

Q3-50

Q4-53

Q5-57

Q6-68

Q7-58

finish 100% of Qbank and score 57%, I know my scores are not the greatest, I read all the rationales and wrote down all the stuff that I am not familiar with. All I can do now is study more while I still have time and pray and believe that God will enlighten me on my test day.

Thank you! I am optimistic that something great will happen.

Good luck and Congrats in advance future nurse! The last thing we test takers want to hear is negativism so keep that positive attitude as I am trying too also..and the rest of us :) everyday feels like I'm being butchered =,= oh well! , - can't sleep properly at night as my test date comes near too.. I'm Glad I opened up AN today and read your post it lessened my over the top anxiety :) Good luck again and let us know how did it go.

Try and go with your gut feeling. If you're anything like me if you change away from your gut feeling you'll pick the wrong one. You are gonna do great! Your scores are fine. Just make sure you get plenty of rest and a good healthy breakfast the day of the test, and try to relax the day before !

Thank you so much, It's good to know that I am not the only one having anxiety and sleepless nights because of NCLEX, Yes the last thing we need is negativism right now, as Zig Ziglar say “Positive thinking won’t let you do anything but it will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.” haha, Good luck also to you. WE CAN DO IT!

Thank you msygrnbw, I will make sure to eat a good healthy breakfast I am scheduled 8am so I will try my very best to sleep the night before my test, I am learning now to go with my gut feeling which is right most of the time. :)

Try to relax for 1-2 days before your exam. You should be fine. I'll pray for you, feofeo. :)

we can do it. I also test in 10 days. just keep on studying. I feel confident content wise but at the same time i'm not ( it's a crazy feeling). I can't wait to get this done and over with and feel and live like a normal person again. ugh!
