Test Reviews. Does your progam do them?

I am just curious if any of your nursing programs has a review after a test. In my program they let us review the first test then they d/c that and said that they where not going to do any more reviews. They told us that many other nursing programs did not allow reviews either. This just makes it harder to review for final b/c I don't know what I don't know. lol. So whats your school like?

We are returned our tests when we receive our grade to ask basic questions and challenge any answers. If we want to review any further, we need to make an appointment with our professor or advisor to review and ask questions but cannot write anything down. It works so at least you know what you messed up on and study more in depth.

Our exam answer sheets are returned to us (we each have a folder in the SON office) and there's a copy of the exam that we can look at in the office. If we want clarification or to challenge a question we need to make an appointment with our Prof.

My program tried to institute that last semester and it ended up not working out. When you do not know what information you missed there is NO way to know what you need to self study more in depth. Without review there cannot be any improvement. It did take many students challenging to bring about change. Good luck and hope the situation resolves.
