I just finished school and haven't yet scheduled my PN exam. I did well through school, mostly A and a couple of B's, but I am terrified of failing the NCLEX. I start working in three days as a GPN in LTC. I'm a single mom, haven't worked since June and I need the income. I'm afraid that I will fail the exam and lose the job. I am even having nightmares of a woman telling me that I am not going to be able to pass! I was wondering how many others have done well in school only to feel the way that I do? Did you maintained good grades in school only to fail the NCLEX the first time? I don't know if it's the stress of needing the job, or the thought that my good luck (good grades) can only hold out for so long. I really didn't think it would bother me this much, but the closer I get to testing, the more scared I get.

Try using saunders and Kaplan, all the best.
