Temple College ADN 2017

So, I have been waiting for someone else to start this topic but no one has so I figured I would. I applied for the ADN program this last April. The director told me that they might accept 70 people this year, so I was wondering how many others applied, how many points you had, how many co-reqs you have done, and what your hesi score was. Just me being nosy I guess! I thought if we could get to know each other early, maybe we could get a study group together! I am taking A&P II with Clement this summer, anybody else? I will be driving almost an hour to get there everyday.

Add anything else you think we should all know, and please comment if you have any inside info! I can't believe I have to wait almost another month to find out if I got in!

Good luck everybody!

Hello! I applied for the ADN in April as well. Glad you started this thread. I'm Brenda, married with two babies. I'm from the Fort Hood area so I will be traveling about 45 mins each way. I have all the pre reqs and co reqs done. My hesi score was a 90. My gpa is a 3.5. So looks like all together I should have 9 points as far as ranking which is not as high as I wanted but hope it is enough to get in. I'm ready to know if I got in already! Really anxious. So if anybody has questions or want to chat about the program I'm here! Good luck everybody! :)

Hey, I was wondering where will you be traveling from??

I am traveling from Thrall. I have all pre-reqs, 1 co-req, and I am trying to do the other 2 this summer. I have a 3.4 GPA (UUUHHHHH!), and I got a 97 on the Hesi. I also have 9 points. I CANNOT wait another month to find out if I got in!

Congrats on the hesi. Thats a really good score! I had to retake the hesi a few times to pass. I wish my gpa was higher as well. Also me either! CAN NOT WAIT!

Can anyone tell me the co-reqs of TC nursing program? I did my pre-req at another community college. I will need to do co-reqs for my TC ADN application. Thank you!

Hey the co-reqs are A&P 2, Lifespan, and an elective. Ugh only a few more weeks till we hear anything!!

Hi everybody! My name is Carolina and I also applied for the 2017 ADN program. I also had co-reqs and pre-reqs done and I got a 97 on the HESI. I had 11 points. I took Clement for Microbiology last semester and he is awesome! You don't need your book as he provides the notes online. I highly recommend you print them out and bring them to lecture. My friend who had him for A&P II says he is strict on spelling. This wait for acceptance letters is killing me. I was browsing through last year's message board and saw that they started receiving emails around this time, so I was hoping we would hear something by now. Good luck everybody!

I have been waiting for someone to start a thread as well! My name is Alicia. I applied to the ADN program with a 4.0 GPA, all co-reqs completed, and I live in Killeen. I have to drive about 25 minutes, but that's not bad at all. I have 11 points. I took Clement for A&P 2, and I'm taking him in the fall for Microbiology.

I was told it would be the week after the deadline. I'm so impatient, I'm anxiously waiting for the letter/email.

I'm taking him in the fall for micro. I had him for A&P as well. Do you feel like micro was harder than A&P?

Hi my name is Cindy. I applied for the ADN program for temple I think I had 9 points over all. My GPA is like 3.6 with all pre and co reqs done. I cant wait to here if I got accepted like I am sure all of you are.

Hello everyone! My name is Amber and I applied for the ADN program this year. I went and turned in my transcript last Wednesday and Nancy said that emails should be sent out today! Good luck!
