Tell me about your day...

Kay, I posted yesterday about prioritizing, etc, and so far no takers. So, I'll try another tactic--all you practicing NPs (specifically primary care, but acute care/anesthesia are good too), can you share an example of a patient you cared for, how they presented, how you developed your ddx, what your thought process was, how long it took you, how confident you were in your decisions, what references you used in developing your treatment plan, etc? And the outcome/follow-up. I want to hear about normal every day experiences, train wreck patients, interesting diagnoses, your accomplishments, your failures, things you've caught or missed, etc. I am a sponge. If you like to tell stories, well, I like to hear them. I'm a good listener. (obviously I don't want to inspire stories that may compromise pt confidentiality)

Please humor a soon to be new grad. I want to know what it's like for you.
